This award recognizes a woman who has founded, built, or significantly grown a business.

She may be a founder, co-founder, small business owner, independent entrepreneur, or leader of a growing enterprise. The size of the business is less important than the vision she has pursued, the leadership she has demonstrated, and the impact her work has created.

Who can be nominated

  • Lives and works in China, or has a strong business connection to China.
  • Has founded, built, scaled, or transformed a business, product, service, or platform.
  • Serves as a founder, co-founder, owner, independent entrepreneur, or leader of a growing enterprise.
  • Has demonstrated resilience, sound judgment, and accountability while building or growing the business.
  • Creates meaningful value for customers, employees, partners, communities, or the broader market.
  • Supports women through her business, workplace, network, leadership, or example.

What the nomination should demonstrate

  • The vision behind the business and the need, opportunity, or problem she set out to address.
  • The challenges, risks, or barriers she navigated while building or growing the business.
  • The growth, innovation, results, or lasting change her leadership has delivered.
  • The customers, employees, partners, communities, or markets that have benefited from her work.
  • How she supports women, creates opportunity, develops others, or contributes to a stronger
